Policy for the Treatment of Personally Identifiable Information

At Public Words, Inc. (“Public Words”), we recognize that you expect privacy and security for the nonpublic information you provide to us.  We appreciate your trust and are providing this notice to you so that you understand how carefully we treat your personally identifiable information.
The personally identifiable information collected by Public Words includes all  information collected or received by us when you purchase a product or service from us, as well as information necessary for billing and payment for said products or services.
Some of your personal information may be aggregated internally by Public Words for the purpose of compiling sales and statistical data to be used for internal use only.

To whom do we disclose your information?  Subject to applicable law, we disclose your personally identifiable information:

  • To our affiliates who are also subject to this policy;
  • To unaffiliated third parties, but only with your prior consent;
  • To unaffiliated third parties that are under contract to perform services for or on behalf of Public Words, and are required to uphold and maintain Public Words’ policies with respect to privacy and the treatment of your personally identifiable information; and

Federal, state and foreign laws give people involved in lawsuits and other legal proceedings the right under certain circumstances to obtain information from us and from our service providers, including your personally identifiable information.  You should understand that Public Words and our affiliates will comply with these laws to the extent we are required to do so, including compliance with discovery requests.
How do we protect your information?  Public Words maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personally identifiable information.
Except as described in this notice, Public Words will not use your personally identifiable information for any other purpose unless we first obtain your authorization.
